Northeastsouthwest by Beautiful Cadaver Project
The Beautiful Cadaver Project is an awardee of New Sun Rising’s Arts MODE. Exploring the surrealist form called exquisite corpse as a means of writing a play, each playwright wrote and explored the character and setting independently, and then pieced together the segments to create one work. The final product, a play entitled “northeastsouthwest” explores the evolving relationship between these character, the city of Pittsburgh, and ultimately, their own personal evolution.
