2018 TENTACLES by Voyage Theater Company‘TENTACLES’ is a tongue-in-cheek feminist harpooning of Tentacle Porn. Grad student Tessa (Flannery) is presenting her thesis on feminist ravishment fantasies when the manterruptions of former-flame-turned-porn-star Chris (Fayne) thwart her presentation. As she unravels, her own secret fantasies come slithering in uninvited. This funny, moving play leaves both performers and audience wondering how, in the #metoo era, we reconcile our fantasies with our feminism. This third collaboration between Pittsburgh native Tessa Flannery and director Rebecca Cunningham invites you to slide down the slippery slope of consent, fantasy, and female sexuality through the lens of one slimy adult-film genre. Featuring fight/intimacy direction by Claire Warden.
