The History and Art of Roman Golla

In 1964, Roman Golla imagined himself an artist and began painting memories and imaginings from his home in Poland. He had a one-person gallery exhibition in 1978, which received a positive citywide review, but never showed again. He died alone in 2001, surrounded by over 90 paintings.
