This page will help you understand every part of Step One: Create Your Project and Apply
Before you start Step One of the application, look at this page. We have a list of all the questions you'll be asked throughout the process. That way you can make sure you have all your answers ready.
Also, make sure you are ready to commit to the festival, because the $35 application fees are non-refundable. We do this in part, because when they were originally free, we had a lot of people not really ready to commit. Then we wasted time that we could have directed towards helping performers that were really committed to doing the festival.

APPLICATION FEE: There is a $35 non-refundable fee for each performance or exhibition before you can start the application process. (If you do a BYOV venue (Bring Your Own Venue), there is no cost to register a venue. You may also make that venue available to other performers, or just for your own show.) Credit Cards and Paypal are accepted.
2019 How to Apply:
STEP ONE: CREATE YOUR PROJECT AND APPLY: Applications will be open from now until the festival. However, you will have more venue options earlier in the process, and more time to talk with venues the sooner you apply. You will also save money if you make our early registration deadline on January 15, and you will want to be in the printed fringe guide the deadline which is February 2nd. So as soon as you can figure out even the first draft of your show idea, get online and apply!

Submit will send you to PayPal to pay:
You can pay with credit cards, debit cards, directly from your bank account (via Paypal). If you need yet another way to pay, contact us. Your application will be in limbo until the application software is notified by paypal that the payment went through. You do NOT need a paypal account to pay at this page. If you don't have paypal use the grey button that says "Pay with Debit or Credit Card."
Once the system knows you paid...
You will receive a Thank You page AND an Email. Both will have a link for you to follow to start entering your project information. The Thank You page looks like:
Underneath the checkmark will be some directions and a link to the next part. If you miss that page, no worries, because you will always be sent an EMAIL with the link. Just check your emails. It will be from Pittsburgh Fringe and look like this:
